Get to know me
Flor Boeckx is a seasoned HR professional with over 35 years’ of experience in leading and managing HR areas such as compensation and benefits, employee- and industrial relations, HRIS, talent acquisition and learning and development. In addition, he has supported various organizational development and change management projects. He built his expertise in blue chip companies such as Philips, Borealis, DuPont de Nemours, and Ajinomoto in roles of increasing HR responsibility.
Career
Flor joined Ajinomoto in 2015 as HR Manager and became Corporate HR Director soon later. Prior to that, he served as the HR Director in an infrastructure company and he was the HR Manager at Nyrstar in Belgium and Australia.
For the 10 years he worked at DuPont De Nemours he held the position of HR Manager Benelux. At Borealis Polymers, he consolidated, among other responsibilities, the HR information systems for six European operations. Flor started his career at Philips Electronics where he learned the HR profession in a people-oriented culture.
Education
Flor Boeckx holds a Bachelor in Human Resources Management from Thomas Moore University College and a Master of Social Sciences (organizational sociology) from the University of Antwerp. He attended numerous business training programs including CIGO (Consultancy In Groups and Organizations, University of Hasselt in association with Western Reserve University, Cleveland), HR Strategy in Transforming Organizations (London Business School), and the Advanced Management Program of Vlerick Business School, Ghent.
